Another major title correction is Karakuri Kengou Den Musashi Road (although I still have a major question about this one).

Unfortunately due to a couple of different glitches, several of the files I meant to upload yestereday were corrupted and I wasn't able to fix the problem. My apologies to everyone who has attempted to use my site during the last 24 hours or so and had problems with incomplete files (including this one).

By the way, I will be on vacation for most of the coming and following weeks. I don't think there will be another update of the site until mid-November. Happy Halloween to all of you.

The Chronology, Anime TV List, and the Animation on the World Wide Web section have been updated this week. Earlier this week I revised the index to the Chronology so that it doesn't slide to the beginning after every selection.

The new series are: Angel Heart; Ginban Kaleidoscope; Lamune; Mushishi; Noein Mou Hitori no Kimi E; Paradise Kiss; and, Rozen Maiden traümend. On the other hand, I've discovered an incorrect entry and have therefore removed Moo-Pon DX from the List.

This week's updates are to the Chronology and the Anime TV List.

Like last week, I've made a number of "unannounced" updates to the Chronology. The reformatting of the files in the new monthly comparison mode now goes back to the early 1970s. All of the old files have been split into annual files back to 1920 (which is as far as I will probably go). Finally, I've also converted the page that covers the beginning of the Chronology as the prototype for all of the multi-year files.

The update of the Anime TV List is a standard update for the most part. There are two new series entries: Yuki no Joou The Snow Queen and Zettai Shonen.

May 22, 2005
Today's updates are to the Chronology and the Anime TV List. Most of the Chronology update is more of the reformatting project. The new monthly formatting goes back to 1990. The older files have been split down to annual files back to 1960. The Anime TV List update is mainly updates of older series entries but there is one new series, Shinshaku Sengoku Eiyuu Densetsu Sanada Jyuu Yuushi The Animation. The NHK children's series Ojarumaru has been updated with new entries for each of its separate production series.

I've been doing a lot of work on my reformatting of the Chronology this week (total geek/nerd vacation). All of the principal files have been renamed but any existing links to my site should still link to the desired page. At this time, the new monthly version goes back to 1993.

I would appreciate any comments on the new format.

Besides the new series entries in the Anime TV List a new data element has been added to the entries, Broadcast time. This element will be used to note the day and time the series was normally broadcast during its initial release. I will at least attempt to put in this information for the original Japanese release. I doubt that I will try to keep track of United States broadcast times ....
